A previously outdated bathroom and ensuite were modernised, ultimately to add value to the client’s home. Old-fashioned shower bases were removed from both bathrooms, and replaced by a tiled design with a glass shower screen. By adding a white colour palette to the walls, vanities and basins both areas seem larger in size. The contrasting floor tiles visually enhance the overall appearance and minimise signs of dirt and grime, perfect for time poor individuals. To utilise the space effectively a freestanding bath was introduced into the main bathroom, this effectively attracts the eye to create a focal point in the room. To keep the areas tidy, both the bathroom and ensuite have a niche cut within the wall to store personal hygiene products or candles for decoration.
